Malaysia My Second Home
 Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) is an international residency scheme promoted by the Government of Malaysia. It is a unique programme that is open to all foreign citizens of countries recognized by Malaysia to long stay and enjoy Malaysia with their spouses and children aged below 18 years of age who are not married.
The programme attracts foreign citizens to Malaysia to :-
  • Long-stay
  • Conduct their business overseas
  • Educate their children
  • Retire or semi-retire
  
MM2H programme also offers attractive incentives for successful applicants. 

What Are The Incentives of This Programme?

Long Stay Visa
  
·      Ten-year multiple-entry social visit passes are granted to successful applicants of the 
       programme, providing the freedom to enter and leave Malaysia.
·      The visa is renewable after the 10 year period provided that the applicant has complied
       with the terms and conditions of the programme.
 Purchase of Residential Properties
 ·      Unlimited purchase of residential properties priced above RM250,000 (Sarawak    
        RM350,000) without prior approval from Foreign Investment Committee.
·      Sale of properties bought under this programme is exempted from Real Property Gains
       Tax.
Tax & Duty Exemption for One Car
·      Tax and duty exemptions on the import of one personal vehicle within six months of joining
       the programme.
·      Tax and duty exemptions on the purchase of one vehicle that are locally assembled in
       Malaysia within one year of joining the programme.
Taxes
·        Tax exemption on income remitted from abroad and received by participants in Malaysia.
·        No inheritance tax.
Domestic Help
·       Permission to employ one full time foreign domestic helper in Malaysia, subject to the
        prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
·      The helper should come from countries approved by the government, i.e. Philippines,
       Thailand or Indonesia.
Investment
·        Permission to invest in local businesses, share market and/or various investment
         products in Malaysia.
·        However, participants cannot be involved in the day to day activities.
 Long Term Stay for Parents
·      Parents of participants who are over 60 years of age can come to Malaysia under a
       special social visit visa valid for 6 months that is renewable until the expiry of the
       participant's MM2H visa
